If you have questions about your health, please use the National Health Service Contact Center, SNS 24. Here, health professionals will evaluate, advise and refer, depending on the question presented - disease situation or medication problems.
At the beginning of the call, you will be asked for your beneficiary card number, so check to see if you have this data available.

If you have had an accident or your state of health requires immediate treatment, call the European Emergency Number.
Be alert to protect yourself from possible theft, especially in public transport. Tourist sites, cafés, bars, terraces, restaurants and spaces with a high number of people, are also the target of pickpockets. Avoid exhibit valuables (smartphones, for example) or high amounts of money.
If you are a victim of theft, you should go to a police station of the Public Security Police (PSP) and file a complaint.
If you were the victim of a crime, you must report it to the authorities.
You can do it on-line via the Electronic Complaint website or in person at the nearest police station.
In emergencies where an immediate response from the security forces or services is required, including when the crime is being committed, you should immediately contact the National Emergency Number (112).

The main task of this police force is to monitor compliance with municipal regulations and the application of legal rules.
The agents are recognized for their dark blue uniforms showing a chequered design in black and white and a yellow reflective strip on the chest (with the logo of the City of Lisbon and written “Polícia”) and on the back (it is written “Polícia Municipal”).
Police of Public Security - PSP
Aimed at the exercise of security functions and the maintenance of public order, it helps to make the city a safe and protected place
The policemen are recognized by their dark blue or light blue uniforms that have “Polícia” written on the back. They sometimes wear (especially in traffic actions) a reflective vest of yellow or orange colour that has “Polícia” written on the back.
